Also, I was never an Alanis Morrissette fan. I heard a couple songs in recent days from her big smash hit album and I am very hard-pressed to understand the fuss. I really dislike her voice quality and the lyrics are riddled with idiotic shit and they are not especially catchy and she looks like an unfinished muppet.

I understand how maybe 11 people would like her. I can see her having appeal for 11 people. Multi millions of albums sold --->

I know, I know ---> subjective.

Let's just say this: the current state of her career, I am on board with.

How can you not understand the appeal of such an angry half-finished muppet?

Personally, I never minded her.
Also, I will never forget a Karaoke performance (by this girl I sort of used to know) of one of her songs. It wasn't great singing, but so full of emotion and kind of out of character. I remember thinking wow this girl must of been really hurt somewhere.

If you look at the post MrX quoted, you will see he is simply continuing a theme I began when I called her an unfinished muppet.

What does it mean? Well, her head appears to be completely divided in two at the mouth so instead of just her mouth moving like most people, the whole top of her head kind of flaps around. And then her hair is not quite right, like the puppeteers have taken a break while deciding what exactly to do.

Is what I was getting at.
