Wow. I didn't realize the EOA required you to not discriminate against older people in credit situations. So if otherwise credit worthy 90 year old wanted to buy a house, lenders would be required to give them a mortgage? I guess so.?

Yeah I suppose if you have been financially responsible your entire life there is little risk that you will decide to simultaneously apply for $50,000 in unsecured cards and live on their dime before you die. But I can see it happening in times of desperation. Of course that risk is there for any age group..just a more difficult time for them to recoup it if they default.

Ya never know. I was just thinking that most people who have moved into a nursing home are probably not looking to buy a house, and most have sold their homes if they have moved into a nursing home.

Seriously though Mudcat, I know I quoted your listing of foods from the "What have you eaten today thread?" to prove a point about MY food journaling thread and I still believe that was relevant, but I haven't noticed a "trend." Maybe you could list some examples. I haven't noticed this at all, but then again I'm not looking for it exactly.
