So I went out beside my building and placed a garbage dumpster against the wall. Then I took a person from the sidewalk and threw them at the wall directly over the dumpster. They kind of splatted on the wall and fell straight down - landed in the dumpster.
It got me wondering: what if I threw them really hard? Would they bounce? So I took another person walking down the street and threw them at the same spot on the wall - this time really hard. They actually did bounce a slight bit but it was basically negligible. They still fell into the dumpster.
I think it is theoretically possible to project someone at the wall so hard that they would bounce right over the dumpster and land on the ground in front of it. But I tried it a few more times and threw the people with all my possible strength ---> it wasn't even close. I tried it with a catapult and then a cannon --> they still just hit the wall and dropped right into the dumpster.
I don't know. Maybe it just isn't possible as dictated by the physics of the situation.
So I think that's it for now.
