Something amazing happened in that game. Mumbai needed an insane amount of runs in a short amount of game time in order to qualify for the playoffs, and they did it. Nothing like it had ever happened before. It would be the equivalent of a team scoring 50 points in the 4th quarter to win an NFL game.

Currently watching a Memorial Cup rerun on Sportsnet. I know that Val-d'Or is going to win in 2OT but I can't stop watching.

Why does no one seem to care that Ray Rice verbally abused his wife and dragged her out of an elevator by the hair like she was a piece of luggage? I guess he's probably a hall of famer...

Yeah that's a weird one, they've been making the comparison on sports radio a lot that Sterling gets hit so hard and Rice gets nothing. I do think Sterling is scum but I agree on Rice.

I hear quite a few people pulling for the Habs.

But sure, if there is a team you are an active fan of that is doing well, it is fairly natural for random match-ups in other sports involving teams you have no feelings about to fade into the background.

I myself would like the Habs to win but I would not trade a Blue Jays victory tonight for it.
