I wonder what we will do for the Super Bowl halftime show this year. For decades I have always gotten together with the one buddy. But since the last Super Bowl he has broken up with his wife and no longer lives in his house. I don't even know where he lives now.

I guess I'll invite him over to my place. He may or may not want to drink and would rather have me over to his place.

I assume we'll probably get together one way or the other.

But the halftime show . . .

We watch it pretty much every time. I have kinda chalked it up to his woman. There have been a ton of shows I would have been glad to skip - Madonna, Shania Twain, Black Eyed Peas, Bruce Springsteen, Prince etc. - many more, I'm sure - but it is actually the only thing she is interested in. She comes down special for it. So we watch.

Katie Perry tho? I could skip that. There is also a third guy tho. He might feel like we have to watch. Regardless of who is performing, we just have to watch. I could see him being like that.

I don't know. Developing story here.

It's funny how everyone's been freaking out about the Leafs descending into a .500 team whereas in Philly we've kind of quietly accepted our worse suckage.

Also I never, ever want to hang out with the guy in that video. Very nice editing, though.
