I guess responding "Go eat shit" qualifies as a joke in Canada. I guess I'm just looking for something a with a little more complexity.

I mean, if they had said - "you win a lifetime of xyz" where XYZ is something snappy and political or something that would be a joke i could laugh at. But "go eat shit?" Seems like some dane cook millennial BS. :muddy: I'm sure george carlin coulda done a lot better. I guess I also don't really know what ted cruz is about, I know he's conservative and people love/hate him. But has he been connected to german shit porn or something that makes that funny?

Also, FWIW fairwarning might not be able to take a "joke" but he's obviously wrong about the score. Deadspin 0, Ted Cruz -1 (for engaging, what a moron).

Knowing how Cruz is, I thought it was a good joke by him. I haven't read deadspin much lately, pulled away from most everything after the election. I did read a couple of story's right before it on there and conservatives just getting grilled. I don't remember the site being that involved in politics, but it's about the clicks these days.

Yes Boner, Carlson would have had an outstanding response. He was a great comedian.

I assume you mean Carlin. Do "conservatives" like Carlin? I mean I would've thought much of his best stuff is attacking you wankers, but I could be way off. Hard to tell what means what anymore :dunno:
 
He would probably be my favorite all time. Particularly like his later/post 90 political stuff.
I guess I tended to associate conservatives with the status quo establishment types. This election showed me that the liberals are just as pro establishment, but a little more gay(?) maybe :dunno:

My immediate thought vis-a-vis the Raptors: no.

In fact 'Melo has been around the league a good many years now and the Raptors were not always as good as they are now, but that has always been my answer: no.

But what do I know? I barely watch the league. I form impressions based on the angles of talk.
