For a long time, people complained how golf reports often started with Tiger Woods' score even if he wasn't leading.

I was like, too bad. He's the main guy I know and I want to hear what he's doing more than anyone.

But I'm talking about 5+ years ago.

I have noticed the last few months that a lot of golf reports are still doing that. Getting Tigers' results front and centre, even if he is middle of the pack or worse.

My thought on that is, okay, you can actually stop now.



But if he shoots 85, sure, get that in there.

Fenway Park fan hit by bat in 'serious but stable' condition


The female fan, identified as Tonya Carpenter, suffered serious injuries after being struck in the face with a piece of wood after Oakland's Brett Lawrie broke his bat in the second inning Friday night. The shard went careening into the stands and hit Carpenter, sitting with her husband and son on the third-base side. Her screams were immediately audible both to fans in the stadium and on the team radio broadcast.

I have been hearing for awhile how much of a difference Gordie's stem cell treatments are making.

I never know what to make of those reports though. Could be true but also, humans have a tendency to see what they want to see.
