I think that's a bed and breakfast. I know exactly where he's at. Does he have a lock for his ride? He doesn't need on in that location, but I'm just curious. How long is he here for? My wife works across the street where he's staying. He's literally a 7 mins drive to my house. He can check out the waterfront. Lots of bars on Grafton St. The Lower Deck on the Waterfront is a popular spot. Great music with a very good band playing tonight. It's frenchie friendly. There are also harbour tours and whale watching tours. Titanic cemetery is also close to my house if that shit interests him. There's a restaurant and bar (Liquor Dome) where the bodies of the Titanic were kept as it was a makeshift morgue. The place is supposed to be heavily haunted. In fact, a lot of Halifax is haunted because of the Titanic shit and the Halifax explosion when 2000+ people were killed. There's a shitty casino here, but I wouldn't waste my time going in. It's actually on the boardwalk and close to the Lower Decl. Prob a 3 min walk along the boardwalk.
He could also check out Peggy's Cove as it's a very popular tourist destination and a decent coastal drive. If he's a seafood lover then there's lots of seafood places around. Seafood is dirt cheap here compared to where he's from.
Citadel hill is a walk away from where he's staying. He could check that out. Decent view of the city. Also Public Gardens is a 2 mi walk from where he's staying. He can check that out.
For the most part Halifax is frenchie friendly. We're Maritimers so we welcome everyone. Nobody will give him a hard time because he's a frenchie. Just me if I'm in the right mood.
