as a person who considers himself of the top echelon in the tv viewing community... both shows fucking suck ass... if you like either, you are...as matty would say "a simple minded pron" and really have no business ever opening a thread about tv or movies again....

i hope you understand..

RAYRAY!!!!!!111ONE :bowdown::clap:

(Both shows' first seasons were good. The rest was utter crap.)

While I appreciate everyone here for offering their opinions only Teela and Nina have anything of worth.

Teela, Bread may take issue with your droopy panels but personally I know how to make those lovely flaps play a harmonious tune.
Nina, I agree a few practice swings are needed but I prefer live pitching for batting practice. Hows your fastball?

yeah, i agree matty, both shows had new ideas and were pretty interesting their first seasons...maybe into the 2nd...but man did the ever run their course in a hurry...

i still watch a handful of shows from each night, but these days, Justified , Parenthood and Fringe hold my attention every week...good stuff imo

24 is horrible in many ways..... AND its horribly addicting. I could never get over that.

I never had any desire to watch it, but my gf kept buying new seasons, and I'd get hooked in.

I'd be commenting on all the bad acting, horrible inconsistencies and other criticisms all the while..... but I still wanted to see what happened next.

First season of Prison Break was very good. Thrilling and clever.

24 just shuffled characters around every season and it was always the same bullshit. Always a mole in CTU. Always a high-ranking CTU officer who had personal problems that interfered with his/her responsibilities. Always a president in danger of being murderized.

And not nearly enough Kim Bauer in a skimpy white top. :fok:

At the 6-hour mark of the 2nd season I am forcing myself through continued episodes of 24. As Matty pointed out it so repetitive and predictable. NetFlix is proven to be worth the monthly fee but I may have to upgrade my membership to include home delivery since some of the things I want to see aren't available for streaming.
