i have to question why the fuck a rich girl from N.Y. would go to a hick ass college a thousand miles away...nothing personal herman, just makes 0 sense to me...leave N.Y. to go to fucking Indiana and study Fashion??? i mean how bad did her parents hate her??? am i the only one who is severely confused by this? i wouldnt rule out her running away ... hopefully she is simply on a 3 or 4 day meth/coke/ecstasy bender with some guy and is doing this to get back at her parents.

It's definitely strange, however very common at that particular university. The NY, NJ, and CT kids LOVE coming to the midwest for some reason, I'm not quite sure why.

There is a dynamic of 'us vs. them' at IU for sure, in terms of in-state kids vs. east coast kids. They have basically taken over. I'm just as confused as you are.

At first I was wondering the same thing as Ray until I remembered about the daughter of a family friend.

Her family is loaded - beyond loaded. Her father is a very well-off photographer and this girl went to some snooty school on the Upper West Side.

They own a house in the Hamptons, blah blah blah.

But when it came time to go to school, she chose IU and even lived in a dorm for a year or two although she's moved out of it now.

No clue why but I suspect it was the cool thing to do amongst her friends to get away from Mommy and Daddy.

All while they give her a ridiculous amount of money as an allowance each month.

You're required to live in the dorm for 1 year, and based on what you're saying, odds of her living in a dorm in year 2 are.....off the board, because it didn't happen.

She probably lives in the complex where this girl went missing from, and if she is a current student, likely knows the missing girl.

Wal, tragedy happens every fukking day all over the world pal - why do we feel so bad for a privileged beautiful young American woman that had everything and now is dead?

Wal what about all of the sick/starving children in poor countries that die horrible fucking deaths from starvation and disease that suffered immensely before passing away?
Why aren't they mentioned in the media?

Wal, the dead aren't easily offended pal, I was making a statement with my earlier comments regarding that woman, some people are offended or annoyed by my style but I call it the way I see it with no apologies.

Praying for her safe return is just silly, like predicting the end of the world and other religious shit.
Wal, why do we need to pray for her safe return?

Why didn't god just prevent anything bad from happening to her in the first place?

Maybe god is a cunt? Maybe he just has a wicked sense of humour?

Why mourn the broad at all if she's happily enjoying heaven? We should be happy for her.
 
Actually Herman, do you know her? I know it's a longshot but you never know.

She's 22 and just graduated (not sure how old you are)
