Hello everyone at Gamelive! Mr. Monkey is getting on my last agate today but a side from that, as far as the dog food situation we spend about a $1.50 per day in dog food for our little precious Peanut and all the table food she haunts us for while we are eating.

It is normally a dollar in wet food (ProPlan small cans) and one cup of Wellness Weight Management dry food. She is still 60 lbs. and over weight so I dont think it is helping. The only thing I can suggest is trying small cans of less expensive wet food and see if one of them strikes your pups fancy. I know the ProPlan wet small cans smell and look as good as some table food (not mine).

I also do believe that the weight per ratio of can food is off on the manufacturers label. When we had to put Peanut on a 200 calorie diet per day Mr. Monkey called Pro Plan and asked for a calorie list for all the different types of their can food. Pro Plan was very gracious and sent it out to us. Well good luck IAG and I do hope you are able to find a food regiment that works for your dog.

Awesome Mrs. Monkey..Thank you! I haven't priced the caned wet food..just the trays, but I imagine I am paying for some convenience there. Peanut was on 200 calories a day? That doesn't seem like very much for weighing 60 lbs. Pogo is a fatty too, but he has lost a few lbs over the past few months. I guess I have been scared of feeding him some substandard food with his condition..but I guess at his age, as long as his tummy can handle it, it can't do too much damage. I guess I won't know until we do some more insulin testing. I'll look for the WWM dry food. Thanks again!

Believe me Pucky, I tried.

Me - Do we really need a cat right now?
Her - Why?
Me - Isn't there some deadly bacteria bullcrap in his poop?
Her - It's not deadly if you take care of it.
Me - Doesn't your mom want a second cat?
Her - *sad face* *mumble mumble*
Me - I hate your stupid cat.
