Agnostic most certainly is NOT a fancy word for atheist. I am very offended by that statement.

No but seriously man, atheism is as far from agnosticism as religion. Atheists claim to know or believe the unknowable just as much as any religious follower. At least a true atheist does.

I imagine lots of atheists are actually agnostics but just don't understand the meanings of words.
