I named my blow up doll Matty Rain. I hope you're honored.

Not very surprising to hear.

Are the proportions correct?

I have a friend in Atlanta that designs pets and outfits and such for SL. She makes some pretty good money, but, I think she puts alot back into the game. Nina, do you play alot. You might know her, Wynx Whiplash? I think she's pretty well known. She wanted me to design some stuff too, but I just never got around to it.

What does "taken" mean? Is that similar to asking someone to "go" with you?

she said it was basically a boyfriend that was hers when she was on-line

i didn't go any further than that...laughed at her and didn't talk to her again

i remember asking girl to "go" with me, those were the days

There was this report about SL where people were actually making 6-figure incomes on that game selling virtual realestate, shoes, purses and such.

There are some really stupid things to spend money on and I've spent money on some stupid things but I just can't see buying virtual shoes,

Who are you to say that Second Life is less important than actual life? Is it so hard for you to imagine that a person can experience more happiness per dollar spent in a virtual setting than in reality?

Wally, I'm just kidding.

Yeah, it's not for everyone. I wanted to like it. It was kind of a perfect job. I have the background for it and it was way easier than designing "real" things since in SL, basically, you design everything larger and shrink it down (at least the stuff Wynx worked on) so many of the imperfections and flaws just magically went away. Also, since all of this stuff was virtual, there was no irritation of actually having to go to production, which is one of the bigger headaches of design.

I'm not sure if the cash flow is the same as it was, and I think the small time designing (tinies (pets), clothes, skins) isn't quite as lucrative as being a "real estate baron" or "porn club owner". I didn't really follow up. I think the people that can make the cash really love the game and then figured out how to make money secondarily.

Mr. X, I'm trying to be nicer since you pointed out that I'm a *complete bitch online. Also, I will try to make my strikes, if there are any more strikes, calm.

It's true, calling people dum dums is lazy and mean.

I'm turning over another leaf.

*possible slight exaggeration of a very positive and productive conversation about why it is or isn't okay to be a bitch online, if you're not in one reality.

Teela, I've heard that expression since I was a child and I still have no clue what it means, any chance youmight know?

Bread, you remembered, I have 5 chips with me right this very moment.

Mr.X, that truly sad thing is that even though you were kidding there is some truth in what you said. There are actually people who get more pleasure, happiness, respect and even life in their virtual worlds tha in the real one. For the record, spending $4.99 a minute to watch a webcam girl diddle herself is not pathetic.
