Thanks.

I mean, I'm not looking to jump in any $5/$10 NL ring games but it would be fun to jump in a multi-table tourney once in a while or $1/$2 NL.

I miss playing poker from the comfort of my couch.

Deposit on a merge skin with a rakeback account from one of the kickback sites. I have a rakeback account on carbon that I never use and one on RPM. Withdrawals take awhile but they come. Bodog may be a choice but there's highest risk of default/slowplay IMO although the guaranteed purses offer nice overlay from time to time.

Excellent post, Mr.Market but I don't know what this part means.

I meant a poker network. In this case Merge network. The network has various poker skins. Skins such as Lock Poker, Carbon Poker, RPM poker etc. You can deposit at one of the sites. Use a kickback site like Pokersavvy, pokersource, regalos first to get tagged as an affiliate so you can get rakeback from them.

Anyway peruse this site for choices available to you.

You can do all that mrmarket or pick up the phone and call my six buddies and play at my house with plastic cards while drinking scotch and smoking cigars.

I would love to sit down at this game (as long as there are at least 1 or 2 loose/passive types). Pavy, give us a breakdown of the players at this home game.

Pavy, what is your favorite scotch/cigars?

Is there much dead money on Carbon these days, mrmarket?

Online poker is really a mess ATM. NL games everywhere suck (and carbon is no exception). Generally horse and the lesser played variants are always softer but I have to table select 90% of the time now. And if you play at some of these small networks you have to be extra careful because of collusion. The sites/network will do nothing. I mean I wouldn't recommend to anyone I know playing higher than like 400nl online besides on pokerstars. I mean it's different if you're a pro or something because you have weigh the risks and there are some great games at the sportsbook linked skins.

Anyway at this point I think all of the dead money is in the tourneys but it's hard for me to play them because I like cash so much better.

I'm transitioning almost all of my play to live now but I don't live in a great place for that so it's been difficult for me personally.

Most of them play tight. Like it takes 3 hrs to finish a $5 buy in...LOL

I like Chivas Regal. And I don't smoke. I just breath the second hand smoke of my buddies. I love it when they smoke Cubans.

I can't find a more recent one but just know they increased rake since that graph was made almost everywhere.

An interesting read for those interested in the subject:

Yeah. The writing was on the wall as far back as 2007. That's the main reason that I moved to Vegas actually.
