Sorry that the kitten cam was down. Mattyrain was in some distress and I was a little worried. I think she just feels not great from the birth but we were slightly concerned that there was another kitten still in there. She kept meowing and panting and would follow me wherever I went, if I left the side of the box. I called the shelter today, and said that I didn't think it was an emergency right now, but if she doesn't show improvement by tomorrow, I'll take her in.

I felt pretty crappy when the vet tech told me that cats can delay their labor for up to 24 hours if they don't feel comfortable during birth. I didn't volunteer the information that I had her on cam with bright lights shining and was yelling "ewwww gross!!!!" a bunch of times. Way to go Mrs. X.

So, for the next few days I'll keep the cam on, but they might be more hidden.

No, she took her kittens downstairs. I cleaned up yesterday and made a new spot for her upstairs but every time I went to relocate her back, she was nursing. All the kittens eyes are mostly open. I'll go check now.
