I think the part about the kid who is dying to be accepted is probably the closest to the truth from what I've seen.

None of us - as in those who gamble and/or like to hang out with gamblers on Internet forums - are normal by society's standards. We're just not. We can have seemingly normal lives but yet we've flocked to this or other sites for whatever reason. 'Normal' gamblers, do their thing, place their bets and go about their day. But yet you have people like the Pillow Mattress Tella who I've never seen post a play or even talk about gambling yet has adapted and is one of the best things about one gambling forum and is a legend on another. And for all I know, she gambles but I honestly don't have a clue.

I'm not saying the dude was innocent in the whole thing but at what point does burying him become more of a sport as opposed to a little bit of banter? If I wanted to be a conspiracy theorist, I guess I could say his whole burial on here was orchestrated as well since a lot of it seemed to be comprised of those who either became friends with CaliGirl on FB or were thinking with their dick and wished they had.

It goes both ways. Sucks that she left but if she couldn't handle what happened today, then no offense but she'd be gone in a week or two anyway.

Wally, I am not a kid looking for attention. I am probably older than you. We as posters as a whole are all craving attention to a degree. Yes, I like it when my posts are read. Yes I spend an inordinate amount of time hoping to be liked. I highly doubt many of you are different. I am just accepting it. Oksana, I appreciate everything you said and did. I know you looked at both ends of the spectrum and went out on an unpopular limb. For that I am greatful. I post here because I generally do like that banter and I like posting my sports picks. I consider myself a decent handicapper and a somewhat humorous read. Hopefully, we can all just do what we have been doing for years on SBR and on here.

When I actually had my one drug fucked phase of my life, it was my typing class that pulled me through so my overall average was big enough to go to the prestigious unis that I did. :lmao:

I just spill it all out so no one can ever put words in my mouth or feel the need to ask me the same question over and over. Unfortunately, the plan doesn't often work.
 
If you don't have a thick skin around here, just leave. That's what it boils down to. If you're here to fill a missing piece of your life or looking for attention that you're not getting in the outside world, you're going to put too much emphasis on what people say around here. I will bust balls around here as much as have mine busted. I'm fine with that because, at the end of the day, does it really matter that someone thinks I have a penis or that I look like I was hit by a truck?
