Nice little Valentine's Day Sunday and Monday night get away for me and the lady friend... comped rooms FTW.

Heading out tomorrow morning. Before I go I wanted to bestow a gift; LA Kings -165 this evening.

I'm usually pretty in tune with this team... had a feeling the loss was coming against the Ducks, and regrettably I didn't type out the write-up I had in mind on why the Oilers were a good bet Thursday night.

The winning streak was bound to come to an end sooner or later (against the Ducks), and playing the worst team in the league the next game after breaking a 9-game winning streak was a pretty prime spot for a letdown, which the Kings suffered.

Tonight, I expect they'll be back at their best, and head into the Olympic Break with a win.
