[Cougar Bait]

NFL is just a completely different beast.

There's a reason why many of the best QBs in college go to the NFL and become nothing.

The things (to me) that seem to make the most difference is having an internal clock (a ton of GREAT college QBs just don't develop it), being able to understand what the defense is doing pre-snap, and executing on 3rd down.

There are some journeymen backups that do pretty well, but they mostly have 2 out of 3 of the above characteristics.

Might have to cut their losses and draft a QB. Hired a QB whisperer as their coach, dude got top 10 seasons out of Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield. If he can't make this kid any better, that's not good. Give him a new young QB to build around.
