New video - just a little song

Original song which is part of a larger music project. I don't know how it works out of context but what the heck, figgered I'd post it anyway.

There is a bridge in the middle and you kind of have to use your imagination. I am planning to get David Gilmour to put a nice little guitar lead in there. Just waiting for him to return my call. :thumbup:

First, I was like wtf? This isn't going anywhere.
But then as you started singing a certain rhythm developed and that was pretty good. Actually it kind of reminds of some Alan Parsons style (which of course has a Pink Floyd connection).
I can dig the spirit of the lyrics although I think you need a more creative way to express them. I mean Universe is too big and bland.
So yeah, some good things in there.

Really? I wonder if that is an issue with the crappy sound distorting the intro or something else. It should be a pretty standard intro that establishes the progression that is repeated throughout. FWIW the plan for the final version is for some haunting harmonica in there to hopefully set some mood. (Ideally, the plan would be to have a better piano player but I don't know if I will be able to get more people involved with the project or what.)

Thank you. Do you really want that cover? That would be pretty easy. I don't think it would be particularly electrifying. It would probably just sound like a thinner version of what you've already got there.

I think if I was going to work on a music project specifically for GameLive, I would focus on a GameLive anthem of some sort. I have given that some thought.
