We always stay at one of the old fashioned types of places in the Quarter like Hotel Provincial or Place D'Armes. Not as expensive as those.

mrs x would get crushed by monkey

I have been crushed by Monkey in many a post. I think right about the time I started posting was when he was on a serious bender. I couldn't understand why Mr. X thought he was alright. Sr. X's judgement was always so sound and I was confused.

But now, Monkey is seriously funny (he always was, but the humor seems to be less cutting now), tolerant and less snappy. I get it. Mr. X remains consistent.

Me too. Well, I went like fifteen years ago, but I slept in my car. Want to sleep in our car? It's a very roomy Honda Element. That's my best suggestion, so it's probably best that I'm deferring to someone else.

I will have to see what this adventure will cost me. I will probably be in while I would love halloween for the cost of it something later and cheaper would be better. I want to get through Ft Lauderdale first before I committ to this.

Rooms for Halloween weekend are only going to get more expensive. Its Halloween weekend and also the Voodo Music FEst weekend.
