My cardboard and random item fencing technique to keep Mattyrain the cat upstairs in the bedroom = semi fail. It's pretty good comedy to see her walking casually by in the living room when your expecting your highly sophisticated and unnecessarily complex fencing structures to hold. This morning when I came home she was sprawled out sleeping on the top step, just on the other side of the cardboard.

Mattyrain sez: "That's right lady. I don't really want to go downstairs. I just want to prove you're a hack".

Just so everyone knows Mattyrain will be up for adoption after she's done nursing and gets spayed. I like road trips and would consider driving her *wherever her new home may be.

Today Sr. X and I were driving back from Starbucks (the only time we go out of the house is to forage for sustenance or skate) and I said that I thought that Mattyrain finally pooped. He paused and said, "You're talking about the cat right?"

Pulled over a woman who did not stop at a traffic light that was not functioning. I asked her what color she thought the light was when she went through it and she said "blondish-brown".

She seems like a pretty chill cat that way but I have no way to tell. But when the time comes if you're seriously considering it, I can bring a friend's dog over.

Mostly I agree. Everyone loves her, but out of all the girls, she scares me the most. But maybe because I don't know her well enough yet. She has that "cop stare" that just makes me feel like I did something bad. Alot of the girls are tough, but she's the quiet kind that makes me want to watch my back.
