Awww, so nice.

We hung out when we got there and drank some beers and listened to records. Yes, records, in Kato's room no less. It felt kind of like high school, in a good way....better beer, smarter conversation and then the bonus of retro vinyl. Then we went out for Vietnamese food. The place had pages of vegetarian options which is always kind of fun for people who are used to skipping whole tasty looking sections on menus. We came back to the house for more hanging out and American Astronaut watching.

Kato's roommates hung out for a bit and seem to be really funny and nice guys. They were busting on their friend who wasn't there and his dream of opening a restaurant offering nothing but lettuce wraps. I was nearly in tears from laughter. Kato, why aren't your rommies here again?

Kato woke us up this morning when he left for work at 7, and we actually got an early start for once. It was nice.

Besides nearly running out of gas in between Salt Lake City and Wendover, the drive is going well. I think if it weren't for the unmapped gas station 2.7 miles prior to the mapped one, we were, no question, riding our bikes to fetch some gas.

Even though we were going to make up a story about what a violent, rude dick he is in person, Kato is indeed as awesome as we all thought he was.
