As we were all getting ready to leave work today, the one guy was anticipating his Thanksgiving dinner expansively. "Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce . . . !" and so on.
Got me thinking: my family had our Thanksgiving yesterday and that wasn't what I took away from it. We had all that but it wasn't the predominant theme for me.
I found it more about Alzheimers and cancer and a little dash of pettiness.
If there was some way to completely withdraw from society without it being too weird, I might go for that.
