Chicago is a movie I haven't seen since it first came out. I'd like to look at that again. I remember thinking along similar lines to what I was saying about Les Miz. i.e. - I wish they would get the best performers rather than having to go with names.

The dancing in particular bothered me. Like I would be watching Catherine Zeta-Jones clodhopping around (on her way to a frickin Oscar) and I would be thinking how any of the 20 nameless supporting girls all around her could probably dance the part 20 times better than she was doing.

But they need names. It's not the fault of the producers. It's the public. The public is retarded.

But I'm going to check that one out again anyway next time I notice it is on.

Finding Neverland (2004) - Very good movie about the inspiration behind Peter Pan which I rate 8 out of 10.

Oddly, I have never seen a production of Peter Pan. Neither movie nor stage not TV. Nor have I read it. I certainly know a lot about it from hints picked up here, there and everywhere; if there was a Peter Pan category on Jeopardy I imagine I would do about as well as anyone - but I have never actually taken it in.

I wouldn't mind seeing it - in fact I would like to - but it just hasn't happened so far.

:dunno:

Anyway 8 out of 10 for this
