Yeah, wow. It never surprises you though.

It's not like I get into bummed out and uncomfortable mode - and then the episode ends up being something else.

Nope. Sorry if I am doing spoilers. Not actual plot spoilers but mood spoilers. Hey, there are moments of brilliance in it. I'm not saying it's bad.

But that's what it is.

So I guess that's it. Can't imagine there being a season 2.

It is. There was a time where I was unsure if Bob Odenkirk would be up to the task, but naw ---> he owns it.

But it's the style points that really set it apart for me. Creativity and patience and confidence. The scenes with Kim - then HHM trying to win the Mesa Verde business ---> all so intelligent and authentic.

Then Jimmie's follow-up actions ---> :up:

Fascinating to anticipate how that will all unfold. But nothing to do but have patience.

I am ready to rewatch Breaking Bad but I will wait until BCS is done. Could be a long time. I see season a 10-episode season 3 has been greenlighted.

Funny you say that. While showering and pondering, I dropped down to 4.1

I want to give it some credit for social commentary. I have seen documentaries about poverty in the slums of India and SM captures some of it - and it is an interesting and worthwhile thing to expose.

But then there is the massive contrivance of the game show and everything surrounding that - and then the other slumdog plot morphs into a massive contrivance too.

So maybe even at 4.1, I am being too generous. Although I have to say, it kept me interested enough. There are a lot of movies where I bail - or at least am thinking about bailing - and that didn't happen. Perhaps my natural interest in general knowledge/trivia games was a factor.

:dunno:

I really liked the song and dance at the end.

It's funny because she's fat and there is something going on with her teeth.
