After seeing latest True Detective episode, this guy has shaken my faith in the afterlife as I see it!

I could really use Bread coming in here and telling me I'm watching too much TV!

Ep 3 of True Detective also unreal, ep 2 was the best so far imo, all 3 have been off the charts though. Easily the best show on right now. Very, very satisfied with the new development on House of Lies, bitch is badass :no spoiler:

I love Duder which is dumb and so are you. Do not blame me if you click it.

August: Osage County (2013) - Some Oscar angles here with acting nominations for Meryl Streep and frickin' Julia Roberts :)rolleyes:)

This movie probably appeals to some people but I say no. What you got is a dysfunctional family behaving dysfunctionally. That is not a spoiler; it starts from the first frame and never lets up. Everyone sucks and it is a whole lotta concentrated angst and histrionics. The end.

As far as that kind of thing goes, it is probably above average. All star-studded and whatnot.

Each individual can decide for themselves how much room there is in their life for watching that sort of thing.

Me? 4.4 out of 10.

I'm not gonna read Mattys post because I'm almost caught up on Girls. But hey overall its a damn good show. Even Dunham's comments after the show are worth hearing.
Its amazing how they're able to make these girls so fucked up and annoying on one level yet watchable and interesting on another. Was getting a bit weak towards end of 2nd season where it was too much Hannah fucking everybody and her ocd shit.

Also the male characters Adam and that coffee shop guy are excellent. Certainly the show has a fresh perspective. It kinda makes me think of my school days in a happy way, without the melancholy that usually accompanies nostalgia :dunno:

It just don't seem like the movie Nebraska is going to show up. It is the biggest piece of the Oscar puzzle I am missing (besides Blue Jasmine which I am not going to watch due to the Woody Allen sucking factor. Like if it started playing on my front yard, I would close the blinds.)

But Nebraska I would like to see. Best Picture, actor and supporting actress candidates. It should be available by now - but no.

Are there other places I might find it besides the usual?

Dallas Buyers Club - Top acting from Matt and Jared.. Pretty crappy story with few elements really developed. More of a character study... I saw a few items that were just sloppy such as border guard asking for passport in the 1980s... NOPE. Campbells soup can dispenser in the grocery store in the 1980s... nope. I like the long running shots but your lazy filmmaking makes me not like you.

Acting - 8.5/10
Writing/Directing/Etc. - 6.5/10
Overall - 7.5/10
