I have found the M. Night story to be a persistent downhill slide. In order:

The Sixth Sense - very good
Unbreakable - yeah okay
Signs - I'm trying to stick with you - you still have goodwill from The Sixth Sense - but get it together
The Village - no, I'm gone

Haven't seen the rest or heard anything that made me want to.

Same thinking here. Sixth Sense was 10 out of 10 for me. Big BW fan! Signs started a downward spiral.

Who knew the aliens really did fuk up his mind?

And here we have the new Mel Gibson movie, Adults of the Corn

There is something wrong with me, I know! But I'm happy!

This is a very astute comment. I have seen a lot of fanboiz patting themselves on the back for understanding it, and suggesting that anyone who doesn't consider it a masterpiece must not be bright enough to fathom what happened.

The truth is it is fairly easy to follow. One of my biggest complaints is how they kept over-explaining everything.
