Quills - Another all-time favorite. Kate Winslet gets naked (yay) and the storyline is clever and wickedly twisted. 'Quills' also boasts the best necrophilia scene in the history of movies.

Adaptation - After 'Synecdoche, New York' blew my mind last week, I was excited to see this. While I could appreciate where they were going with it, 'Adaptation' just didn't do too much for me. Although, seeing double trouble Nick Cages was quite a treat. :spinner:

Watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Love the Indiana Jones movies. This was an entertaining movie but really didn't need to be made. Lot of people said that doing aliens was too over the top and not believable. The Arc of the Covenant and the Cup of Christ are spot on, but Aliens was too much. What?

FEED- The actual plot, if you wanna call it that, was very unique and original. In comparison to 'Centipede', the overall quality of the movie and acting was much better. Its hard to say which one is more disturbing, but I lean Centipede, because it makes you feel queasy for days after you watch it. In part of the movie this guy gets his dick chopped off and you see it boiling in a pot of water like a sausage. I think either the captor was gonna eat it or feed it to the guy he chopped it off of...still not sure-

Leap Year

Romantic comedy with Amy Adams. I had forgotten how much I cannot stand her. She plays this desperate woman that goes to Ireland (while her boyfriend is there for a medical conference) to propose to him on the leap day which is the one time in which it is acceptable according to Irish tradition. She then meets some Irish country boy and while they hate each other at first come to realize they can't live without one another. BLAH....I realize that women love this crap but this was pretty bad. Bad acting...the story, you could see it from a mile away and all in all REALLY lame.

The one good thing...lots of really cool shots of the Irish countryside. That place has intrigued me for years and would love to go visit.

Love both those movies Bread, and Synecdoche, New York was my favorite movie of last year, in fact, I recommended it to you after I heard you liked Requiem.

I am interested to see Inception.

Anyone else?

Sorry Cougs I missed that recommendation from you. Mr. X recently told me it's a must-see. Either way...very glad I finally did see it. Haven't stopped thinking bout it since.

Our favorite white rapper was decent in 'Quills' but Geoffrey Rush absolutely stole the show.

Maybe you blocked out all that is SBR.

Anyway, seems we agree, that movie kicks ass.
