That's some fancy sheeit.

My bike is broken. :sad: Good news is that I was able to troubleshoot it myself - cylinder 2 is not firing, either because of a faulty spark plug wire or ignition coil. Bad news is that the whole thing is hardwired so I can't simply swap the wires to see if it fixes the problem. I just ordered a pair of ignition coil assemblies.

I can still ride it but unburned gas is getting out the exhaust and possibly into the crankcase as well. No good.

Common USPS, get them coils over here. Daddy needs his fix.

Matty, are you sure you made the right decision?

I've never had an eight ball with a faulty coil or one that flooded a crankcase.

I enjoy the tinkering. Just wish I had a second bike I can ride while I fix the other one.

These older carbureted bikes are wonderfully simple machines, easy to troubleshoot and fix.

Do you have any indoor space for it or is it always outside?

I have a parking spot in my building's underground garage now, I do the work there. Getting to meet all my neighbours who ride since I spend so much time down there working on the bike.

Lots of Ducatis in the building. This one guy who just helped me get the coils off has a Ducati Monster and an Aprilia RSV4, which is basically the fastest production bike you can buy right now. Rich bastard fok.

wot? I'm talking about modern people that live in apartments. Like where would I park it. And what do you put a tarp on it?

Some people don't have driveways.

All the bike shops here offer winter storage in massive warehouses. Cost runs between $250 and $300 and often includes an oil change. Downside is that you're not allowed to get the bike back before spring.

I'm renting 1/5th of a parking spot in my building's garage. The owner tapes up the front of the spot where I get to park, and some other guy is parking his Hyundai in the remaining area.
