Yes. The highlight was that we went at a time when for some reason, there were a million teenage girls in the theater. Everytime something scary happened, an entire auditorium of high-pitched shrieks filled the air. It was pretty humorous.

Speaking of good Swedish films having Hollywood remakes, I see Let Me In is coming out soon, a remake of Let The Right One In (2008) from Sweden, which is currently the #208 movie of all-time at imdb.

I am not big on the ongoing vampires craze but I did like the Swedish version, albeit it did have some amateurish moments that had to be forgiven.

Naturally there is a lot of hostility and prejudice from movie snobs about the remake (as there is about the impending English version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo). I understand the skepticism - Hollywood does have a history of fucking good things up - however I think I'll wait to actually see them before judging.

The original was awfully good. Normally, I'd be instantly dismissive of a Hollywood remake, but looking at the director and cast, I'm cautiously optimistic.

watch

Zombie Strippers: starring Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) and Jenna Jaminson. A no brainer, must see.

Just Wright

I forgot about this one. I saw it a couple weeks ago on the plane back from Vegas....it was the only choice. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. It actually was possibly the worst movie i have ever seen. It is about a Physical Therapist that is played by Queen Latifa who has to get her friend's husband back to the court after he blows out his knee... Evidently the dude was supposed to be some sort of kobe Bryant type player. Well as you can expect she falls for the guy and in the end he falls for her...LAME stupid, lame, awful, stupid, lame, lame, horrible...
