Bread gave me the rundown earlier that F0cker, durito and the rest were giving Justin7 shit at SBR over his new book.

When I saw this thread, I thought RayRay was going after F0cker and I was temporarily terrified for RayRay.

From my minimal experience with Raiders90210, I kind of get the feeling he goes where he thinks the posting money is.
 
we were giving justin shit over his claim to hold 20% of his derivative bets. i don't know how exactly to put that in easy terms, but for example, I am holding 3% on the year on all my bets and I consider that pretty good. rather than admit his bs, justin banned mf. i think i wont be posting in the think tank anymore, not like i have anything to contribute anyway.
 
Durito, I'm not going to pretend for one second that I know what you are talking about. But do you think Justin7 could be misleading the poor SBR saplings into learning improper ways to bet? I mean....why on earth would SBR want their posters to become winning gamblers?
 
Yes.

I mean his book is mostly about modeling sports. I know more about modeling than is covered in the book. I also know I don't know enough to make profitable models, yet Justin implies in his book that following his suggestions will lead to profits. Now there is other good info in the book that could be used to make money, but I think it's more likely to teach people just enough to get them buried if they don't already know what they are doing.
 
I also think (know) that he doesn't know nearly as much about gambling as he tries to pretend. Especially the math/stats stuff he talks about. Not that I know any of this shit, but he tries to come off as an expert in this field and is mostly laughed at by people that really know what they are doing.

But, yea fuck them.

Maybe he just wanted to write a book so he could say "I've written a book on this subject". Much like someone who works for Fox News and says "I'm a respected journalist".
 
He wrote the book so people come to him with ideas. If he appears to know stuff people will seek him out to help them and in turn he can pick up some $. Funny when he whines about people giving away info on forums though, since he's the one with the book and all.
