know quite a few high school dropouts that are worth millions and have a bunch of degree toting kids working for them.
/QUOTE]
there is very little "working class" anymore. it shrinks everyday
and the the blue collar part, shrinks quicker than the white collar part.
I've treated, seen, met, known, many highly educated fucks that are institionalized, fubar, homeless, ect.
I wouldn't use that as a thesis or argument point FOR education
its just an exception to the rule
I give you that
the truth is right now. education is over priced, and it gives you zero chance to get ANY sort of job.
trades pay a lot more in the first 5 years, and forver for some.
it doesn't mean that exception to the rule HS drop-outs like Sonny Bono, Tommy Lasorda, and Richard Branson should be EVERYONE'S role models.
somtimes drop outs are just dumb and lazy.... not future moguls
not getting an education and actively DESIRING and WANTING to be very rich is like a waiting to hit the mini-lottery
and odds are, if you are posting on gambling forums with the likes of archie, stevie, sammy, bobby, nicky, blitty, and binar-99 you don't have the ingredients to make it rich without alot of help from ancestors.
