i have been to many a comuna, but not for a while now, shit was more relaxed a couple years ago. now that they sent all the paras to jail in the usa its a war going on up there. i stay down in the south, nothing going on here.

shed be scared shitless in a copter, so probably would i.

i think we walk on the beach, have some nice dinners, find a nice strip club etc.

should i learn some Portuguese words or will people understand spanish?

first time i took a plane flying within spain was from la corua to madrid, i had arrived by train so I had no idea, i bought a ticket it was from spanair i think which is a big airline but when they call up to board they take us in a golf carts to this little shitty looking small plane that sat like 8 people, i was like what the hell. and that region is kind of mountainous and very foggy ala san francisco so take off was a real trip lol

never been on anything that small for a trip, the nazca plane was just to view shit, 4 person plane

cali to mde monday was like 30 person plane, smallest i been on since that nazca lines incident that scared the hell out of me.... through storms the whole 40 minutes, couldnt even read, mrs durito would have freaked.

Rogie is a much better guide than I would be. I am not that adventurous. I was just there recently,a year and a half ago to visit a girls family I was dating and went off on my own .

I stayed near ipanema and I loved the Azul Marinho , i think thats the spelling, a beach bar and restaurant ,its a little expensive but its worth to avoid loud crowds and the view is incredible. There are some really good irish bars in Ipanema, and in Copacabana I have been to cervantes many times and never had a bad time. skylab bar in copa is really posh but it has an incredible view, all the posh hotels have great bars in Copacabana.

Copacabana is lined with strip clubs but beaches make that almost an afterthought, I saw more working girls on the beach than I did the streets.

. I loved it overall, the food and music was the best, but its alot more expensive than you think. some restaurants are as expensive as london, very expensive trip. For gods sakes , if your girl has a shopping addiction, don't take her there to shop. latin girls can be fierce when looking for clothes, it is a very expensive city but a beautiful one.

I know, i like to stay in nice areas when I don't know the language and rio is one of those places. The beach is fun and free, I think the beach at Copacabana and ipanema are so much fun and they are free. such a wild scene to watch. Your hotel will probably have some awesome views and the hotel bars are some of the best I have ever seen .
