I'm a loser that posts on a sports betting forum while I'm boozing and waiting for friends who started trickling in at 11:15 for the fight that started at almost midnight.


Do people really think Mayweather boxes like a pusdy or are they just trolling?

That fight wasn't even close. Although Manny did show that he has one helluva chin. He got tattooed by an uppercut and barely flinched.

I suppose it was worth the $20 + pizza I spent.

Lousy fight. If boxing wasn't dead it is now. Maybe I was drinking too much Blanton's but if there was any punches landed I didn't see it. I'm reminded of the time George Jefferson boxed a guy who was hitting on his wife.

Floyd never had a crowd-pleasing style. He's a defensive master. Of course if you only watch boxing once a year, you don't notice Mayweather's otherworldly skills. The first few rounds almost looked like they were sped up. Mesmerizing display of ninja defensive skills.

It's not for everyone.

This is all true. Many of my black friends said nearly the exact same thing about mayweather and last nights fight.
