you havent been through the "wrong" yet... you have to see if you can withstand the "wrong times" in order to be assured it is the "right time" ... you cant put a date on it and it might take 6months/year before you have your first real fight were you fucking hate each other... you have to go through that or you are going to end up just another divorce statistic...:yes:

Wise words RR. Make no mistake there will be a first real fight....no matter how hard it might be to invision it now. Your relationship will never be the same after that....it might be over...it might strengthen it, but it will never be the same. How old are you Blitty? How long have you known her? I know it's relatively recent...a month or two? I have more questions but I'll start with those.

Also, find out what sorts of assets she has prior to mairrage. If theyre more than yours its a no brainer. I stand to make 200k if I divorced today. And that's om top of rent/food/(potential) tax savings.

Still gotta meet this broad. .. maybe next week though I'm attempting to sober up for 30days.

We already discussing not worrying about social norms, and doing what everyone says you supposed to go, because the 'suppose to police' said so.

We had our first fight when we were drunk last weekend and recovered from it very gracefully.

Keep hearing stories like Mattys about people proposing after weeks.

We might be those people.

its an absolute MUST before ever entering into marriage... give it a try for a while before dropping the engagement hammer, blittser... you will be happy you did...
