FYI with full healthy rosters, the model has Boston as a -140 home fave and a +113 road dog. Invert that for Toronto.

The NYI/CAR series has CAR as a -175 home fave and -117 on the road.

As a Bruins fan, no way I’m betting this series. Between the rotating goalies and the dumpster fire playoff “run” of last year, I have little faith in this series.

That said, Toronto will give up plenty of goals and are soft physically.

I’d grab the OVER every game this series.
 
Both Swayman and Ullmark are really solid. Swayman has the edge in GAR (goals avove replacement) but they're both top-tier in the league.

I'm not sure how this Boston roster is able to win so many games. It's basically Pastrnak and a bunch of no-names.

Leafs firepower is deadly but you can't win without a top goalie. They're DOA. I expect to be betting Boston every single game.

The team is well coached. Last year, people forget the Bruins weren’t supposed to be anymore than a 5 seed playoff team.

As a former hockey card collector, I can tell you that only the cards of mega elite players wind up holding value long term. I had soooo many numbered rookie cards, memorabilia cards, auto cards from the early 2000s that were worth $30-$100 back then that are worth nothing now.

And not just the flash in the pan guys like Jonathan Cheechoo or Jose Theodore. Guys like Peter Forsberg who were top stars then worth nothing now. I dont even think my SPX jersey auto Eric Staal rookie is worth much these days.

Obviously if you are just collecting for fun, collect away! Or to flip while they are still playing (which I wish I did, I could have made thousands on what is now useless cardboard). Investment-wise, better to just go all-in on the McDavids and Matthews of the world.
 
Cards are just for fun. I'm never gonna sell any of them. I'm a bit of a hoarder. Got this beauty last week, it's worth fuck-all but it's cool... cost me $6.50 shipped for a tiny piece of game-used jersey:

Also been collecting Devon Levi for no reason other than I've seen him destroy in the World Juniors a few years ago then I attended an AHL game where he goalied the Marlies. I have his Young Guns and a few variations of his rookie year cards. Just cause.
