I find Matchbook invaluable. I would be throwing away money - and lots of it - not to play there. Volume may be down somewhat but I still get most of my (reasonable) offers taken up. I have noticed no change in that.

I have had about 8 payouts this year and they have all been next day latest. A hell of a lot of books have been doing a hell of a lot worse than that.

If I stopped playing at places because there was some forum scuttlebutt about how they were in trouble there would be nothing left. I have been hearing it for years.

Well, if you're mostly betting sides, the liquidity is still there. For anything else, it seems to be garbage now. I'm by no means advocating pulling your money out. I'm not sure that I'd be comfortable with a large balance there myself, however.

Another 25 dollar scrap on the LAA total.

I don't know what's going on. Maybe it's a Sunday thing because, although things have been slow this week, it hasn't been anything like today. I've put up 10 offers and only 2 have gotten matched completely. I'm sitting here with 5 scraps of bets from 14-100 dollars. 3 very reasonable offers where the takeback was better than any line I could see at any other book, garnered no action at all.

Normally on 10 offers like that I would maybe end up with more like 7 matched completely and 1 partial.

Fucked up day.

Could it be that these gambling portals have ceased to appeal to the sorts of people who, in the process of wagering, would grow to appreciate the value of getting the best price on a wager? Looking at just SBR, I can see how their new target demographic would totally lack the intellectual capacity to come to the realization that even a losing gambler has a lot to gain from getting good numbers. They certainly don't appeal to the people who would be inclined to share those thoughts in the first place.
