Wow. That's a blast from the past. I must have listened to War hundreds of time in high school. We played it on a "boom box" on long weekend debate trips....before I tunes and walkmans were pretty new too. I didn't realize til just now I probably have not listened to the whole album since then....probably due to overkill from NYD.... good tune Bacon.

I saw U2 - Unforgettable Fire Tour and also Joshua Tree tour. I also did a spotlight for them for 4 nights in Toronto on Vertigo tour 2005 at the Air Canada Centre.
On a side note, I share the same birthday as Edge, but he is much older than I.

Well I don't know if The Edge was talking about that song in particular but that song has always had a special place for me and if you turn of the horrible video and turn it way up...how can you not like that? Just makes me dance around the house in a fit of 80s happiness and memory.
