ESPN has a documentary on Marcus Dupree right now. I was too young to have seen Marcus Dupree play, but I have always read about how much talent he had.

Pretty interesting watching the background story on him.

I dont care about him, he has no one to blame but himself. Just always heard about him, and how great he was, interesting to get the back story on him.

But i feel like this tv show is trying to get you to "care".....trying to get you to connect...if they don't get you to connect or care why would people watch?

I think its more of a documentary than a tv show. I feel in documentaries, the film maker wants to have the viewer make a personal connection. My personal connection is the guy is an idiot. He had a $5 million contract in 1984, he fucked it up.
