I just watched that one, lol at those idiots being scared of the paramilitaries and wish they were kidnapped by the FARC instead.

I watched this other one where these idiots thought they were transporting pot from costa rica to amsterdamn. :rofl:

Hey Bread you figured out how I fall asleep at night.

Sadly this show won't do it for me. I can't stand watching foolish people make foolish decisions, it's waste of my time.

idiot went where he shouldnt have gone, got kidnapped by a group of guerillas that funded their operations by kidnapping people for ransom. he got off pretty lucky compared to the people held by the FARC for 5-12 years.

this was a long time ago, the ELN basically doesnt exist anymore.

oh and columbia is in south carolina.

Not yet. I tend to read a lot before going to a country. Probably not the best way to get information, but it's all I can rely on for an initial glance. All I've seen are reports of kidnappings and other drug fun. It's nothing personal.

It does seem like this guy was going pretty far out of his way. Not sure what motivated him for this route, but the ELN and the FARC appear to be about .01% and .03% of the entire population. I haven't found any destinations for COL yet, but I'm sure I'll run into them as I keep exploring.

For the record I've also been to parts of India so lets throw that on the list.

where you get these numbers?

farc are tops around 6,000 now, most of em are 15 years old. 45 million population of country. eln isnt more than a couple thousand at most.
