My problem is I have a single hamburg bun in my freezer. Now I know those come in even numbers. I always eat hamburgers in pairs.

So I will have to use it plus a single bun from the new bag next time I have burgers. And then at the end of that bag I will be in the same position again. It will continue over and over for who-knows-how-long? It's not like at some point there will be a bag with an odd number of hamburg buns and things will align again.

I don't know how I landed in this position. It probably goes back to when I was drinking.

I could take drastic measures, sure.


Maybe I have to. As we speak, I have both a single slice of raisin bread and a single hamburg bun in my freezer.

I am willing to accept that life will lead you down uncertain paths but things are getting out of hand.
