Then why there was a backlash when Cougar was caught ghosting? He probably didn't care if he was caught but everyone trashed him and I'm pretty sure he wasn't the first one or last one that had done it here. It seems stupid to me. You either don't care if people are ghosting or be very strict and forbid it. You can't cherry pick which posters are allowed to do it and which aren't regardless if it's funny or not. Just pick black or white. There is no gray.

i know this is a 'pet' issue for you and i was seriously thinking not to post in regards to it because there will be no end to the discussion.

but, here are my thoughts

when cb created the ghost, it was to stir shit at first, then ms' posts got ugly, so when it was brought up the outrage
me personally, i was ok with it, it was just stupid but the attacks were unnecessary and that is when the line was x's (i tried to pull up the posts, the account has been removed)

there is not one need to ghost here....why would you need to....we are fairly clean from shtick, and for the most part post from a 'real' place

now if shanty is a ghost, that is just fantastic work, i mean he is on creditwagering's stiff page, has a fb account, and was interviewed---fucking awesome

if someone scams for points/loans/etc...buyer beware....and fuck points, i mean what a fucking stupid thing, jesus

like life in general, everything is gray

If not mistaken the CB one involved a ghosting that seem to be making fun of us on the behalf of the over there gang! Not exactly sure?

And all the fuks that over come over here just to stir shitt IMO aren't appreciated. If your one of our own than more power to you!

Makes sense and wouldn't someone from over there come here and use the same password to get in an account? Not like it's a big deal but it could happen? :dunno:

I didn't like the way Cougar was treated. You could have banned his ghost and don't tell anyone like RBS does. But you posted screenshots of his IP. That was stupid.

The only people who think ghosting is humorous and/or clever are people that are socially inept. And they try to justify others' disdain by saying we're pissed off we weren't in on the joke. No Loser - the only joke is you.

Seriously, anyone who would bother to go through the process of creating another username, coming up with another password and then hunting down a new avatar is fucked. Do you not feel silly waiting for the confirmation email from a forum saying you've been approved? Ooh... you got one over on us random people on the Internet. Even better is when the fukking loser and his ghost participate in the same thread. Awesome!!!

I'd suggest adding to your resume that you successfully ghost at a gambling forum although you most likely don't gamble consistently yourself. I'm hoping someone will be impressed. Let's ignore the dilemma of why one would be such a fukking loser to hang out at a gambling forum if they barely place any bets themselves in the first place. Unfortunately, thinking of how much time one must waste logging in and logging out only to fool people who literally don't give two shits if you live or die is quite depressing and I'm going to stop here.
