All through my life, I have known people who actively seek out Leafs fans to bet against. My brother is one of these perverse people who likes to profit from their misery.

It is amazing how delusional Leafs nation can be. They will place even money bets that their team will be in the top 4 when it is doubtful they will make the playoffs. All kinds of shit like that.

I don't do it myself but, from what I have observed, betting against Leafs fans has been a consistent money maker for the 30 or so years I have been aware of gambling.

I'm a die hard Leaf fan, but I always bet with my wallet not my heart. Leafs are a better team than their record suggests, but let's face it, they still have some work to do before they are a playoff contender. There is a possibility that they can grab a PO spot this year, but they have to start scoring again.
