Actually I was just curious.
Not the response I was looking for.
Actually, things are just starting to pickup in the oil patch now, after a soggy spring.
I'm in negotiations with an employer to operate a water truck on lease sites in SE Sask.
Job involves supplying water to the oil rig daily, have to live in a mini-camp on the well site for two to three weeks straight then get a week off.
Job is easy, first day is 8-10 hours of work setting up etc. then for the next couple of weeks its 1-2 hours a day of actual work.
Camp has satellite, high-speed internet, a/c, and is comfortable. Pay is above average.
It so happens that this company is owned/operated by a gentleman and his wife from Thunder Bay, Ontario. Small fukkin world. I am meeting with him in Estevan next week to finalize, the holdup is the (newly acquired) truck needs repairs before it can be assigned to a driver - in this case Plommer.
This should hold me right until Christmas.
You are now up to date, sir.
