It is rumored through out town, whether it be true or not, that Joe pa did indeed report the act to not only PSU officials, but also the police, on one of the earlier incadents, and that it was being investigated and the chief of police ordered the investigation to be put to a stop. We could all argue all damn day and night as to the wrong and rights of the situation, so long as the man that preformed the act is brought to justice, then in my mind, that is what really counts here.

I do not think that Joe Pa would have ever retired until he died. He WAS an icon to the town, a mentor to many, regardless, if he is indeed dead now, that is a shame that it happen so soon after the scandal. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
