I am bilingual. I need a job. I have no experience. I need to make at least 15k a month.

I just saw a listing for bilingual (Spanish/English) customer service job.

Pay comes up about 13K/month short though.

I dont like working for idiots. I have a few side projects that bring some income, but the main reason for my job is health insurance. I am having issues with my ankle and think I may need surgery. Will wait to quit till that is fixed unless I snap. August is a paid month off, so kinda stupid to quit at the moment, just need to suck it up for 6 weeks.

I think I could really make a nice living doing catering full time, it pays much better than my job, but I like the idea of a check coming my way each week.

Job interview on Monday. Seems like a pretty respectable opportunity - hoping for the best. I guess I need to brush up on behavioral-based interviewing questions like they ambushed me with at Fedex. Hopefully they don't use that shit but you never know.

Why are there so many jobs for security guards? All the employment papers have all kinds of jobs for them. Is it that bad a job? Is it just some kind of scammy thing where they aren't actually hiring - they're actually just trying to get you to sign up for some kind of training you have to pay for?

I don't know.

What do I say at my interview tomorrow when they ask - as they inevitably will - where I would like to be in 5 years? What are people looking for with that question? Do I represent as an ambitious go-getter who wants promotions and transfers and can't wait to get the hell away from the job I'm applying for? What kind of a message is that? Do people want to hire someone for a job they don't even really want?

Or should I be a lummox who really likes the job I am applying for and would be happy to keep doing it forever? Do companies want to hire that sort of sloth-like organism?
