Alright, I can already see I'm going to have to include at least one more book here because 5D is not putting up overnights early enough. I will therefore be using BetJam for the earlier plays such as the following:

4/8/10

CIN +100
MIN +120

One clerical disclaimer before I get too far into this - all of these plays will be specifying starting pitchers. If there is a scratch the play is void, just as it would be at a sportsbook.

I'm not sure if this needed to be said, but I don't want my integrity to ever be in doubt. These lines will always be posted as they are listed at either BetJam or 5Dimes at the time of posting, and I will never edit a post that contains a play.

Jello's on fire.

Chipper's vagina is hurt already. 6 AB's into the season. I'm so tired of this.

McCann is not playing day after night game, but that's standard. Ross is a really good backup and with a lefty on the hill I don't see it as that big a deal. The Braves have really hammered Sanchez the few times they've seen him.

I'm sure some people are considering the travel aspect here also. They finished a game at 10:00pm last night in ATL and have a 4:35pm EST first pitch in SF today. But it's really no different than a 7:30pm EST start in say...NY. Just a little longer flight.

True but SFO just won three in a row on the road. And "better team" may be true but not by much in the whole scheme of things. I still contend that this line is begging for a SFO play.

And I'm definitely a conspiracy theorist. The first 3 or 4 games of the season have not been good for us conspiracy people but I generally have little regard for conventional wisdom.

But the line is doing what it should do...making SFO less of an underdog. I don't see how that's fishy. I also don't see how the initial line, assuming a healthy Chipper, was fishy at -125 with Hudson vs Sanchez. The fact is the Braves are deep enough to sustain an absent Chipper. They have Infante, Glaus, and Hinske who can all play 3rd and hit effectively. I don't care about Chipper Jones. If he's in the lineup fine. If not, oh well. He's not one of the top hitters on this club anymore.

The important thing is we are both on the same side here regardless of how we got there.
