are you sure you're not confusing underachieving with the rebel without a cause/whimsical free spiritness that is at the root of this great country?
:polaroid:

Actually, both concepts (underachiever/rebel without a cause) overlap quite a bit. I guess I associate the rebel image more with James Dean, leather jackets and such.

reno have you not seen Fight Club?

Bits and pieces pal. I don't really care for the pointless fighting.
Was more interested in the 2nd part of your example.
I guess I can see the whole kinda intelligent dope/fuck up angle in a lot of movies. I just wonder to what degree it's an exhibition of pride in being a fok up vs pride in being free, critical, confrontational towards authority etc..

what about volleyball pro

If there's a Senior beach tour, still a possibility! RJ, first thought came to mind seeing Bacon presently (kinda like his avatar) and he rushes to the net to spike the ball and with the follow through makes the entire net collapse into the sand! Only in my mind I guess it's funny! Bacon, you know I luv ya so relax by this post! And if you get mad by it let Stevie read it and see what he thinks! :givemeahug:

Actually there are a bunch of Coen Brothers movies that are in the category for me. Fargo is a just plain outstanding movie with no weak moments that come to mind. Lebowski has some strong sucking-in power.

The Hudsucker Proxy. Love that movie. No Country.

Just thinking, going from what has taken place so far, years from now will you rewatch all of the G of T episodes or maybe the beginning and cutting out some of the middle slow paced episodes and start up again for the excellent final seasons, thinking they will be excellent! Wonder how many years are projected the series will last?

I appreciate your optimism for what is to come but for me, GoT is a ~6 out of 10 rating kinda show. Even 1 future rewatch is doubtful.

I couldn't even guess how long it might go. With the obvious willingness to kill off and replace main characters without blinking an eye, seems like there is no limit.
