and its why i'm indifferent and inhumane to politics by and large on a global/national scale...

its hard enough to get a local alderman here in chicago, that will put crosswalks and flashing lights at the hugh ass intersections near our school.

I pay a street dude, drug addict to wear a orange vest and stop traffic for our kids arriving between 6:45-8:30

I feel bad to enable the guy's habit... but at the same time he's a golden hearted ted williams type guy, that I've known for 6 years.

and Now I don't have to constantly look out my window at the intersection of roosevelt and pulaski or 13th street and pulaski and fear for a 3rd grader getting run over by an oncoming dick head late for work.


yeah, so its hard to think about large scale politics.

Will the gas companies make more on obama's watch of Bush's by the way?

I have Canadian and American citizenship with Aussie perm residency in 31 days (that's what I've been waiting for so we can leave)

Seth has Aussie, Canadian and American citizenship.

I live nowhere in the US. I'm living in Australia.

Wakky - you do realise when people are born in one country, have a parent that's born in another and then have a baby born in yet another... unless you're an axe murdererer you have citizenship in each place.

I travel Wakky. I always have and I always will. Next country will probably be CR and although my son won't be a citizen or resident, he'll still have had the chance to visit there :)
