Have you attempted to apply the "earmuffs" method of covering your ears instead? You might not look as crazy in the middle of the Sears electronics department...

If I was in the middle of some public place I would just accept the update. Fortunately this is more of a personal preference than a serious foaming-at-the-mouth, control-issue type of looniness.

It is not really that big of a deal. Probably a third of the time I fail in my attempt to block out all info. If I am out in public, I just say fuck it.

But home alone it is proper full-scale looniness.

how about live betting?

If I ever got into live betting that would be a very different thing of course. At the moment though, I only employ angles on full games.

The live betting is something I have thought about but, like a zillion other possible betting angles, it remains on the back burner.
